Nora Green

Hot Springs, Nora Ellen King Green, age 97, passed away on Tuesday, September 25, 2018 at Maggie Valley Nursing & Rehabilitation Center.

Nora was preceded in death by her husband, Burley Anderson Green and daughter, Marie Whitaker. She was a member of Keenerville Christian Church and Nora enjoyed quilting for her family and was a farmer raising tobacco. Nora had a special place in her heart for animals.

Nora is survived by her daughter, Edith Presnell, of Hot Springs; two sons, Dale and Eddie Green, both of Waynesville; twelve grandchildren; nineteen great-grandchildren; and fourteen, great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 30, 2018 at Keenerville Christian Church with Reverend Frank Willett and Reverend Marvin Rogers officiating. Burial will follow at Keenerville Christian Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7:00 until 9:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 29, 2018 at Wells Funeral Home of Waynesville.
