Nellie Whisenhunt

Candler, Nellie S. Whisenhunt passed away on Saturday, March 30, 2013 at Mission Hospital after a brief illness. Nell was born on March 24, 1922 in Greensboro, North Carolina the daughter of Walter and Gertrude Black Shepard. She was a member of The Catholic Daughters and was true to her faith. She is survived by her loving husband, Earl, who she was married to for 65 years; her sister-in-law, Louise Lane; and many nieces and nephews. A private family service is planned. Interment will be held at Green Hill Cemetery in the Whisenhunt family plot.
