Nancye Henderson

Clyde - Nancye Jean Henderson, 82, passed away on Saturday, September 22, 2018 at Memorial Campus of Mission Hospitals.

A native of Dyer County, Tennessee, she was the daughter of the late Marvin and Clemmie Palmer Maxey. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Gerald Edward "Bill" Jones; her second husband, Charlie Russell Henderson; and a son, Russell Eugene Henderson, who died in 2015. Nancye was a member and deacon of First Baptist Church of Clyde and enjoyed crocheting, crafts and baking.

She is survived by a son, John Charles Henderson and wife, Theresa, of Columbia, South Carolina; a daughter-in-law, Karen N. Henderson of Clover, South Carolina; four grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

A memorial service will be held at noon on Saturday, September 29, 2018 at First Baptist Church of Clyde with the Reverend Dr. T. David Phillips officiating. The family will receive friends from 10:30 until 11:45 a.m. prior to the service at the church.
