Nancy June Jones

Nancy June Jones, 62, of Candler passed away on Wednesday, August 16, 2023.  A native of Buncombe County, she was daughter of the late Jimmy Ray Sharpe and Lucille Bryant Sharpe Hughes. She was also preceded in death by her sisters, Linda Kay Sharpe Sams and Doris Ann Sharpe.

She is survived by her husband and best friend of over 35 years, Robert Jones; daughter, Lucinda; son, Jeremy; sister, Cathey; grandchildren, Ashley, Jimmy, Christian, Hayden, Robbie and Zoie; great grandson, Angel; niece, Jennifer and three nephews, Michael, Jason and Brian and special niece, Kasey, who was like a daughter.

A celebration of life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, August 21, 2023 in Pavilion number 1 at Lake Julian.
