Myrtle Conner

Waynesville, Myrtle Jean Conner, age 62, passed away on Sunday, September 13, 2020 at Haywood Regional Medical Center.

A native of Haywood County, she was a daughter of the late Betty Farr.  Myrtle had a successful career as a Certified Nursing Assistant for over 20 years.  Along with her high school sweetheart, Steve, she loved spending time at the beach, camping and tending to her beautiful flower beds.  Myrtle was a beloved wife, mother and grandmother.

Myrtle is survived by her husband of 15 years, Steve Conner; daughter, Emily Conner, of Whittier; son, Marcus Conner (Brittany Hornbuckle), of Cullowhee; sister, Lona Frazier; brother, Dillard Frazier; three grandchildren, Kolby, Madison and Emmalie Conner, and one on the way.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.

The care of Myrtle has been entrusted to Wells Funeral Homes.
