Clyde, Mildred Chambers Hannah, passed away on Saturday, June 15, 2019 at Care Partners Hospice Solace Center.
A native of Haywood County, Mildred was the daughter of the late Lucious "Bill" and Mildred Edwards Chambers. Mildred served the Lord, as an attendee of Panther Creek Baptist Church and was a member of Liberty Baptist Church. She was also a hard-working employee of Dayco, in which she was able to retire from the curved hose department. Most recently, she was a cashier at Sam’s Mart. In addition, Mildred was also an Avon representative, in which she had just received her 50th year pin for outstanding service and commitment.
Mildred is survived by one son, Ricky R. Hannah (Tina); two grandsons, Steve Hannah (Amber) and Ricky N. Hannah; and two great-grandchildren, Billy and Heath Hannah.
Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 19, 2019 at the Waynesville Chapel of Wells Funeral Home with Reverend Billy Ferguson officiating. Burial will follow at Garrett-Hillcrest Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 12:30 until 2:00 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
