Mildred Gosnell

Candler – Mildred Loretta Smith Gosnell, age 94, passed away on Saturday, November 24, 2018 at her residence.

A native of Sevier County, Tennessee, she was the daughter of the late Ida Lucille Bailey White. In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her husband, Cletus Gosnell, who passed away in 2002; two daughters, Brenda Wilson, who died in 2016 and Deborah G. Smith, who died in 2010.

She is survived by a daughter, Myra Cagle (Johnny) of Candler, three sisters, one brother; eight-grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 27, 2018 in the Canton Chapel of Wells Funeral Home.  Burial will follow at Pisgah View Memorial Park in Candler.   The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
