Mildred Caldwell

Waynesville - Mildred Collins Caldwell, age 95, passed away to her heavenly home on Monday, December 16, 2019 at Haywood Lodge and Retirement Home.

Mildred was the daughter of the late Hobart W.M and Nellie Ball Collins of Waynesville. Mildred was predeceased by her husband Kendrick Caldwell of Waynesville.

Mildred enjoyed a long and successful career.  She was employed by Southern Bell and Dayco Corporation until her retirement in 1996.  Mildred is survived by numerous in-laws, nieces and nephews.  They would like to thank all of her kind caregivers at the Lodge for her tender, compassionate care.

A graveside service will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Sunday, December 22, 2019 at Garrett Hillcrest Memorial Park with the Reverend Scotty Patrick officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:30 until 2:15 p.m. prior to the service at Wells Funeral Home of Waynesville.

The care of Mrs. Caldwell has been entrusted to Wells Funeral Homes.
