Michael Pinkerton

Michael Keith Pinkerton, age 55, of Clements Road died Thursday, July 28, 2005 at his residence. He was a native of Buncombe County and had resided in Statesville most of his life. He was the son of Dutch A. and Letha Burnette Pinkerton of Candler. He was a 1968 graduate of Enka High School. He was a former barber and currently employed with American Elite Homes in Kannapolis as a sales representative. He was a member of Gospel Light Baptist Church in Walkertown, NC. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife of 19 years, Susan Marlow Pinkerton; a stepson, Geremi Hayes and his wife, Donna of Lawndale, NC; two sisters, Donna Dixon and her husband, Sam of Memphis, TN and Sherry Young and her husband, Ernest of Candler; a brother, Ricky Pinkerton of Candler and a granddaughter, Madison Hayes. Graveside services will be at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, July 30, 2005 at Pisgah View Memorial Park in Candler with the Reverend Bobby Roberson officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00 - 2:30 p.m. Saturday at Wells Funeral Homes & Cremation Services of Canton prior to the service.
