Michael Cody

Michael Ray Cody, 55, of Asheville, passed away Monday, August 22, 2011. A native of Asheville, he was the son of Robert Franklin Cody and the late Frances JoAnne Pegg Cody. Michael was a painter for 28 years and loved gardening and fishing.
In addition to his father, he is survived by his children, Christy (Derek) Hall of Canton, Josh Cody and Michael Ray (Tonya Montgomery) Cody, Jr., both of Asheville; sister, Patricia McMinn of Asheville; brothers, David Q. Cody of Asheville and James A. Cody of Arlington, VA; grandchildren, Robert Hall, Jeramiah Montgomery and Lucy Cody.
A Memorial Service will be held at Noon on Friday, August 26th at Moore Funeral Home at Forest Lawn's Chapel of Faith. The family will receive friends 1 hour prior to the service.
