Melissa Pope

The Pope family is gathering all of Melissa Pope's friends for a celebration of her life.  She loves each and every one of you, and it will be a special time to share stories and just be together.

A memorial service will be held from 2:00 until 4:00 p.m. on Friday, November 11, 2022 at Grace Church in the Mountains.  A reception will follow in the Parish Hall.

Date: Sunday, November 13, 2022

Time: 2:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m.

Food and Drink: Food will be provided by Doc Brown's BBQ.  There will be an open bar with beer, wine, cider, and seltzer.  There will also be soft drinks and water available.

Other Info:  Parking is limited so we recommend car pooling.  If any attending have pictures of Melissa you want to share, we recommend you printing them up and bringing them along.  There will be several areas to place them in the venue.

***Update on Melissa's Life Celebration:

For all you that want to donate flowers to the event, a lot of the florists are closed on Sunday.  So, in lieu of flowers, you can donate to a cause.

Mel loved animals (i.e. Asheville Humane Society), outdoors, (i.e. MountainTrue) helping people, (i.e. BeLoved Asheville) or any other cause you think Mel would love.
