Mary Phipps

"1948 – 2013" Lake Junaluska – Mary Sharp Phipps, age 65, passed away on Monday, December 2, 2013 at Pisgah Manor Health Care Center. A native of Haywood County, she was a daughter of the late James and Nina Moore Sharp. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William Joseph Edwards, who died in 1979. Mary's special enjoyments to her life included cooking, needle point, crocheting, and knitting and she especially enjoyed reading. She is survived by a son, William Robert Edwards of Lake Junaluska; and one brother, James Sharp, Jr. of Enka. A visitation will be held on Thursday, December 5, 2013 from 1:00 until 2:00 p.m. at Wells Funeral Home of Canton.
