Mary Henson

Canton- Mary Nell Pittman Henson of North Canton Road died Sunday, December 25, 2005 at her residence. She was a native of Burnsville but had resided in Haywood County most of her life. She was a daughter of the late Grady and Zettie Gregory Pittman. She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry "Buddy" Henson who died in 1972; an infant son, Truman Henson; three half-sisters and three half-brothers. Mrs. Henson was a Foster Grandparent with Southwestern Child Development. She is survived by two daughters, Hazel Ingle of Canton and Delores Cooper of Waynesville; one son, Bruce Henson of Canton; two half-sisters; three half-brothers; five grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren. Graveside service will be 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, December 28, 2005 at Spring Hill Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Tuesday evening at Wells Funeral Home of Canton.
