Mary Morgan

Mary Ann Caldwell Morgan, age 75, of Lake Logan Road, died Sunday, December 21, 2008, at Autumn Care Nursing Home. A native of Haywood County, she was the daughter of the late Henry Lisenbery and Lucy Gordon Caldwell. She was also preceded in death by her husband, John Harley Morgan, who died in 1978; a son, Robert McKinley Rogers; a great-grandson, Brody Daniel Morgan; a daughter-in-law, Vicky Rogers Morgan, who died in 2000; two sisters; and three brothers. She was a member of Laurel Grove Baptist Church. She is survived by a son, Billy Morgan of Canton; two daughters, Linda Morgan and Velma Morgan of Canton; a sister, Ruby Rogers of Canton; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; two step great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, December 23, 2008, at the Waynesville Chapel of Wells Funeral Home with the Reverend Ted Reeves officiating. Burial will follow at Sunburst Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
