Mary Messer

Canton- Mary Dee Swanger Messer died Monday, July 4, 2005 at Canton Christian Convalescent Center. She was a daughter of the late Bill and Hester Trull Swanger and was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Lee Messer who died in 1987 and a twin sister. Mrs. Messer was a member of Center Pigeon Baptist Church. She is survived by one son, Pete Messer and his wife Elaine of Fletcher; one brother, Larry Swanger of Canton; 3 grandchildren, Danny and his wife Rhonda Messer of Cashiers, Chris and his wife Jessie of Fletcher and Rhonda Messer and 6 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be Friday, July 8, 2005 from 7:00 until 9:00 p.m. at Wells Funeral Homes & Cremation Services in Canton.
