Mary Davis

Waynesville-Mary Knox Davis, age 65, of 220 Blanton Drive, died Monday, February 9, 2004 at the Brian Center.

A native of Haywood County, she was the daughter of Carl and Mary Mitchell Ledford. She was also preceded in death by a son, Gregory Lane Davis, who died in 1960 and a grandson, Auston Wayne Nicholson who died in 2002.

She is survived by her husband of 44 years, Wayne Davis; a daughter, Angie Nicholson and her husband, Stephen, of Waynesville; a son, Dean Davis, of Waynesville; and a brother, Carl Haywood Ledford, of Maggie Valley.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, February 13, 2004 at Green Hill Cemetery with Reverend Amos Stevenson officiating. At other times, the family will be at the residence.
