Mary Connor

Canton - Mary Melva Connor, 89, passed away on Saturday, October 6, 2018 at Maggie Valley Nursing Home & Rehabilitation.

A native of Madison County, she was a daughter of the late Eugene and Adline Sherlin Connor. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Susan Worley Moore. Mary worked for 20 years as an activity director with the sick and elderly patients at a nursing home in Florida.

She is survived by two sons, Randy Worley of Waynesville and Keith Worley and wife, Marlene (Peanut) of Canton; two grandsons, Brandon and Mark Worley; and three great-grandchildren.

A private memorial service was held.
