Mary Clark

Waynesville-Mary Ruth Clark, age 85, formerly of Maxima Lane, died on Thursday, November 29, 2007 at Smoky Mountain Health Care and Rehabilitation Center. A native of Swain County, she was the daughter of the late Samuel Taylor and Dora Guthire Cline. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James "T. Berry" Clark, who died in 2005. Mrs. Clark managed the Waynesville Drive-In with her husband "T. Berry" for many years. She is survived by a special niece, Tammy Maney, of Clyde and several other nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 1, 2007 in the Waynesville Chapel of Wells Funeral Home with Reverend Ken Engle officiating. Burial will follow at Holly Springs Baptist Church Cemetery in Bryson City. The family will receive friends from 9:00 until 11:00 a.m. prior to services.
