Mary Ruth Barker, 79, of Asheville, NC, passed away at Mission Hospital on Wednesday, May 27, 2026.
Mary was born on February 27, 1947, to parents Fred and Alverta (Presnell) Barker. Surviving are her loving niece, Holly Hughes, and cousin, Patricia Covino.
A Celebration of Life is being planned for a later date.
The care of Ms. Mary Barker has been entrusted to Wells Funeral Home of Waynesville.
