Martin Pensak

Waynesville, Martin Jeremy Pensak, 66, passed away on Thursday, October 13, 2022, at his residence.

A native of New Jersey, he was a son of the late Louis and Charlotte Pensak.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Stephen and David Pensak.  Martin was a graduate of Princeton and retired from DuPont as Cyber Security Manager after 31 years of service.  Martin volunteered in the community with numerous organizations, including Friends of the Library and Habitat for Humanity and assisting with supplying the COVID vaccines.  He donated blood and plasma for many years.  Martin had a great aptitude for learning and was the go-to-person with his family and friends with IT issues.  He loved traveling with his wife Margaret and their friends, and they enjoyed attending plays.

Martin is survived by his wife of 23 years, Margaret Glass Pensak; many loving extended family members and friends; and his two cherished buddies, Zoey and Katie.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, October 18, 2022, at Wells Funeral Home of Waynesville with Pastor Bryan Myers officiating.
