Marjorie Knapp

Marjorie Revis Knapp, 91, of Candler, passed away on Wednesday, October 10, 2018. She was born in Madison County to the late AL and Josie Hudson Revis. Marjorie enjoyed fishing at Fontana Lake and traveling, she was always the life of the trip. As she traveled across the US she collected magnets and coffee cups, noting how many she had left to get. She enjoyed going to the Singing Grounds in Candler and listening to the Primitive Quartet. When her son, Robert, was in High School, she never missed one of his football games. Her daughter, Lisa, learned her mother's favorite recipes by cooking by her side.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded by her husband of 37 years, Robert Knapp, Sr. and second husband, JT Crowe; daughter, Sonya Johnson; granddaughter, Kimberly Jones; and siblings, Blanche Israel, Conley Revis, Clarence Revis, Mabel West, Lucille McElreath and Bobbie Hipps.
She is survived by her children, Robert (Renay) Knapp, Jr., Randall (Kelly) Knapp, Roger Knapp and Lisa (Fredrick) Mace; sister, Betty (Bruce) Emory; and grandchildren, Amber Mace and Richard, Steven, and Jacob Knapp.
A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00am on Monday, October 15th in the Chapel of Moore Funeral Home at Forest Lawn. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made the funeral home to assist with expenses.
