Marisa Shannon

Canton – Marisa Warren Shannon, 56, went home to her heavenly father on Thursday, February 23, 2023. She was a native and lifelong resident of Haywood County. She was the daughter of the late Bill and Barbara Messer Warren. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Bill Warren.

Marisa was a graduate of Pisgah High School, class of 1984. She was a caring person who loved her grandchildren and spending time with friends. Marisa held Associates degree, and she formally worked as activity director for several years at Silver Bluff Nursing home.

She is survived by two sons, Andy Rogers (Shauna), and Alden Shannon (Becca) of Mills River, North Carolina; four grandchildren, Enslie, Brady, Levi Rogers, and Audrey Shannon; her fur baby, Rascal.

A visitation will be held at Wells Funeral Home of Canton on Thursday, March 2, 2023 from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m.

The care of Ms. Shannon has been entrusted to Wells Funeral Homes of Canton
