Margot Jeffer

Clyde, Margot Ann Jeffer, age 72, passed away on Thursday, June 21, 2018 after a long battle with Crones illness.

Margot was born September 30, 1945 in Brooklyn, New York. She was the daughter of the late Norman L. and Rosalind T. Jeffer. Margot graduated from Adelphia Academy in Brooklyn and obtained her B.S. in Nursing from the University of Pennsylvania. She obtained a Masters from New York University cum laude in Child Psychology; in 1978 she graduated Miami Dade Community College with a degree in funeral service. Upon graduating, Margot went to work for Robarts Funeral Home managing their preneed department. Margot specialized in Child Psychiatric Nursing and was the original child nurse for the Child Psychiatric Program at the UNC Medical Center. Later, she qualified as a Nurse Practitioner for Child Psychology and practiced in Sarasota, Florida. She was also active in Compassionate Friends.

As a resident of Clyde since 1996, she has touched many lives with her compassion and supportive friendship. She will be missed by many.

Margot is survived by her brother, Dr. Edward Jeffer (Ulrike), of Falls Church, Virginia, Bruce Jeffer (Rachel), of Los Angeles, California, David Jeffer (Edith), of New York and Arnold Jeffer, of Sarasota, Florida.
