Margaret T. Hannah

Waynesville, Margaret Trantham Hannah, 81, passed away on Monday, August 26, 2019 at Silver Bluff Nursing Home.

A native and lifelong resident of Haywood County, she was a daughter of the late Cauley and Gladys Ledford Trantham.  In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Lewis Hannah; two brothers, Gerald and Jerry Trantham and a sister, Helen.  Margaret was employed by Dayco Corporation and Paxar Corporation for many years.  She loved riding horses, working puzzles and camping with her family.  Margaret will leave a legacy of being a hard-working woman.

Margaret is survived by a son, Rodney Hannah, and his wife, Carla, of Waynesville; sister, Louise Trantham, of Fines Creek; two brothers, Carroll and Joe Trantham; and a grandson, Caden Hannah, of Waynesville.

A memorial visitation is planned from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 29, 2019 at the Wells Events & Reception Center in Waynesville with Reverend Ronald Green officiating.

The care of Mrs. Hannah has been entrusted to Wells Funeral Homes.
