Margaret Brown

Margaret Ann Jones Brown, 78, of Asheville died on Thursday, January 7, 2021 at Memorial Mission Hospital.  A native of Buncombe County, she was daughter of the late Horace and Tilda Walter Jones.  She was also preceded in death by daughter, Mozell Jones; brother, Walton Jones and sister, Mary Penland.

Ann worked on the Biltmore Estate for her whole life.

She is survived by her sister, Beverly Dodd of Candler; three brothers, Jake Jones of Swannanoa, Wayne Jones (Delsie) of Swannanoa and Buddy Jones (Brenda) of Leicester; two grandchildren, Meranda McConnell and Jesse Jones and three grandchildren, Jayden and Ashlyn Jeffords and Riley Jones.

Private graveside services will be held at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Candler.  A memorial service will be planned at a later date.
