Magalene Kisamore

Waynesville-Magalene Kisamore, age 74, died Sunday, July 29, 2007 at the Transylvania Community Hospital. She was a native of Haywood County having lived in Transylvania County since 1958 and was the daughter of the late Joe and Macy Caldwell Carver. She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Brevard, a former Girl Scout and 4-H Leader and loved to sew and cook. She is survived by her husband of 49 years, Howard Kisamore; two daughters, Diane Jones and her husband, Charles of Pleasant Garden and Debbie Perdue and her husband, Marc of Greensboro; a brother, Lloyd A. Carver and his wife, Kathleen of Waynesville; five grandchildren, Jonathan, Christopher and Timothy Jones and Michael and Ashley Perdue. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 1, 2007 in the chapel of Wells Funeral Home in Waynesville with Reverend Michael Jordan officiating. Burial will follow at Garrett-Hillcrest Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Memorials may be made to First United Methodist Church-Brevard, 375 N. Broad Street, Brevard, NC 28718.
