Lucille Parham

Asheville – Lucille Holcombe Parham, 93, passed away on Wednesday, August 17, 2022 at Pisgah Manor Health Care Center.

Lucille was a native of Haywood County and a daughter of the late Henry Hardy and Daisy Miller Holcombe.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charlie Adam Parham, who died in 2007; eight brothers, Carroll, Roger, Roy, Charles, Alvin, Jimmy, Ray, and Hoyle; and two sisters, Helen Davis and Elen Warren. Lucille clogged and loved flowers and was a member of Community Chapel on Newfound Road.

She is survived by two sisters, Mary Webb of Asheville and Shirley Rogers of Waynesville: and several nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, August 19, 2022 in the Canton Chapel of Wells Funeral Home with the Reverend Frank Cantrell officiating.  Burial will follow at Beaverdam Community Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 11:30 a.m. until 12:45 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.

The care of Mrs. Parham has been entrusted to Wells Funeral Home of Canton.
