Lowery Caldwell

Waynesville-Lowery Lee Caldwell, age 90, of Dellwood Road, died Tuesday, April 27, 2004. A native of Haywood County, he was the son of the late Fred and Carrie Davis Caldwell. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Zemry Caldwell and a sister, Annie Cowan. He retired from Atlantic City Electric Company after 25 years employment. He is survived by a son, Don Putnam, of Hamilton, Washington; three grandchildren; six great grandchildren; and a companion, Anna Allen of Waynesville. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, April 30, 2004 in the Waynesville chapel of Wells Funeral Home & Cremation Services with Reverend Don Letzring officiating. Burial will follow at Garrett-Hillcrest Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 10:00 until 11:00 a.m. on Friday prior to the service.
