Louis Vetoe, Sr.

Canton-Louis Neil Vetoe of Canton passed away Thursday, May 4, 2006, in Tuscon, AZ where he resided for the last eight years with his son and daughter-in-law. He was born in Princeton, NC on June 19, 1917, and was the son of the late Frank and Caroline Vetoe. He leaves behind to cherish his memory a son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Louis N. Vetoe, Jr.; and grandchildren Chad and Kristen Vetoe, Thomas and Laurel Neel, and Joseph Vetoe. He will be missed by all family and friends. A memorial service will be held at St. Andrews Episcopal Church, where he was a lifelong member, at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, May 19, 2006. Burial will be at Bon-A-Venture Cemetery, Old Clyde Road following the church service. Wells Funeral Home & Cremation Services of Canton is caring for the Vetoe family.
