Louis Latour

Myrtle Beach- Louis Earl Latour, age 84, died Friday, March 30, 2007 at National Health Care Center in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. He was the son of the late Louis A. and Annie Blachier Latour and was also preceded in death by his wife, Joyce Latour, who died in 2000. He was a native of New Orleans, LA. He served as a Technical Sargent in the U.S. Army Air Force during WWII in which he received a Bronze Star. He was employed by the Veteran's Hospital of New Orleans in the Maintenance Department. He was a member of NARFE and was a pilot and of the Catholic faith. He is survived by his son, Louis E. Latour, Jr. and his wife, Janice of Wilson, NC; a granddaughter Angela Latour Ives and her husband, Jerry and three great-grandchildren, Matthew, Danielle and Sarah. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, April 3, 2007 in the chapel of Garrett-Hillcrest Mausoleum with Brother Bill Harkins officiating.
