Louis Cherry, Jr.

Maggie Valley, Louie Emmerson Cherry, Jr., age 72, passed away on Wednesday, June 24, 2015 at his residence. A native of Fayette City, Pennsylvania and previous resident of Jacksonville, Florida, he had resided in Haywood County for the past four years. He was the son of the late Louis Cherry, Sr. and Phyllis Gabb Cherry. Louis was a supervisor at Wise Potato Chips. Louis is survived by his wife, Brenda Bell Cherry; two daughters, Evie Nagy, of Waynesville and Brenda Spivey of Middleburg, Florida; two sons, George "Tim" Barber and Jack Barber and his companion, Paula; his twin brother, Lawrence Cherry and his wife, Mae; two sisters, Florence Loosemore and Mary Lou; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren as well as numerous nieces and nephews. No services are planned.
