Louella Bettis

Louella Madeira Bettis, age 83, died Wednesday, November 19, 2008, at Silver Bluff Nursing Home. A native of Covington, KY, she was the daughter of the late Earl and Henrietta Leslie Madeira. She was preceded in death by her husband, Escher William Bettis. Louella was an active church member at Harvey Browne Presbyterian Church where every year she was head of the Christmas decorations. She was also an avid golfer. She is survived by a daughter, Leslie Bettis Chandler and her husband, Joe, of Denver, NC; a sister, Jayne Petrucelli of Ct; two nephews Roger and Charles Riggs, Jr. of New Mexico; a grandson, Christopher Escher Chandler; and a great-granddaughter, Amber N. Chandler. Inurnment will be at a later date in Louisville, KY at Resthaven Memorial Park.
