Lottie Hall

Crabtree, Lottie Noland Hall, of the Crabtree Community, age 95, passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 18, 2022, at John F. Keever Solace Center.

Lottie was a lifelong resident of Haywood County and the daughter of the late Tommy and Bennie Mae Noland.  Lottie was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Charles L. Hall; grandson Forrest N. Hall; two sisters, Pauline Rogers and Lucille Sutton; and brother, Quintin Noland.  She worked as an LPN for 25 years.  Church, family and community were very important parts of her life.  Lottie enjoyed reading her Bible, tending her garden, making baskets as well as sewing and feeding the hummingbirds.

Lottie is survived by her son, Charles N. Hall, and his wife, Jackie; granddaughter, Autumn L. Hall, and husband, E. Mark Howell; great-grandson, Samuel N. Hall; sister, Thomasine Howell; and nephews, Terry Rogers, and his wife, Fran, Larry Sutton, Eric Howell, and Gary Howell, and his wife, Cindi.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, June 22, 2022, at Upper Crabtree Community Cemetery with Allen Caldwell and Clayton Davis officiating.  Serving as Lottie’s pallbearers are Jamey Tricoli, Doyle Smith, Danny McElroy, E. Mark Howell, Paul Juergens, and Eric Howell.

The care of Mrs. Hall has been entrusted to Wells Funeral Home of Waynesville.
