Lorraine Roberts

Lorraine Roberts, 91, of Asheville, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, March 27, 2018. A native of Buncombe County, she was the daughter of the late Shannon and Ruth Head Hampton. She retired from BASF in Enka after 45 years and worked for Krispy Kreme for 8 years. Lorraine was a member of New Bridge Baptist Church, the American Legion, and the Pioneers Club.
She is survived by her son, Larry (Philomene) Eugene Roberts; sister, Betty Jean Roland; granddaughters, Chadra (Ted) Dawn Hutchinson and LaDonna Roberts; step grandson, David (Nikki) Neil Cash; great grandchildren, Amber and Asher Hutchinson; step great grandson, Brendan Cash; granddog, Phoenix, and many nieces and nephews.
A Funeral Service will be held at 3:00pm on Monday, April 2 in the Chapel of Moore Funeral Home at Forest Lawn with Rev. Steve Ackerman officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to New Bridge Baptist Church, Grace Baptist Church, or Care Partners Foundation.
