Loretta Wilson

Loretta "Dutch" Smith Wilson of 14 Surrett Road died Tuesday, May 3, 2005 at Mountain Area Hospice Solace Center. She was a daughter of the late Bud Vincent and Legia Penland Smith and the wife of the late William "Bill" H. Wilson who died in 1997. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Sandy Wilson Nash who died in 1998. Mrs. Wilson was formerly employed by Photo Quick and American Enka and was a member of Fairmont Baptist Church. She is survived by one daughter, Vicki Wilson Plemmons and her husband Jim of Candler; one sister, Lurena Hoglen of Candler; three grandchildren, Jeremy Carlyle Plemmons, Tiffany Lynn Nash and Whitney Elizabeth Nash and one great-granddaughter, Brianna. Special thanks to James "Dickie" Robertson, her best friend. Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Friday, May 6, 2005 in the Canton Chapel of Wells Funeral Homes & Cremation Services with the Reverend Harold Webb and Reverend Henry Wallace officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Thursday evening at the funeral home.
