Loretha Sales

Canton, Loretha Burrell Sales, 93, passed away on Friday, June 28, 2019 at Maggie Valley Nursing Home & Rehabilitation Center.

A native of Haywood County, she was a daughter of late Sidney and Lelia Frady Burrell.  She was also preceded in death by her husband, James Richard Sales, who died in 1977; five sisters and four brothers.  Loretha was a LPN and enjoyed helping people.

She is survived by a son, Richard Sayles (Linda); a daughter, Barbara Metcalf (Keith); a brother, Lewin Burrell (Judy); nine grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

Private graveside services will be held.
