Lorene Hall

Lorene Cast Hale, age 84, died Sunday, March 25, 2007, at Canton Christian Convalescent Center. She was a native of Williamson County, TX and the daughter of the late Will A. and Willie Mae Fitzgerald Cast. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edmond Eual Hale who died in 2005. She was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church and retired from Haywood County Hospital as a registered nurse with 43 years of service. She is survived by two sons, Jerry Krenek of Clyde and Stephen E. Hale of Asheville; two sisters, Frances Daniel of Waco, TX and Fagan Davis of Huntsville, AL; a brother, Claude Cast of Lake Summerville, TX; a grandson, Danny Krenek and his wife, Susie; and two great-grandchildren, Dalton and Savannah Krenek. Private services will be held at the Western Carolina State Veterans Cemetery.
