Lois Parker

Lois Anna Robinson Parker, age 82, died Tuesday, April 3, 2007 at Lexington Extended Care. She was a native of Haywood County and the daughter of the late Will and Emma McElrath Robinson. She was preceded in death by her husband, James A. Parker who died in 2002; a son Jimmy Earl Parker; four sisters; and two brothers. She was a member of Rocky Face Baptist Church. Lois loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She enjoyed gardening and watching professional wrestling. She is survived by a daughter, Jo Ann Watts of Whitmire, SC; a sister, Eva Robinson of Canton; a brother, Fred Robinson of Canton; four grandchildren, Cary Styles, Michelle Cannon, Cynthia Templeton, and Stephen Styles; six great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren. Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, April 6, 2007 at Bon-A-Venture Cemetery, Newfound Road with Reverend Donnie Henson officiating. The family will receive friends from 11:30 a. m. until 12:30 p.m. prior to the service at Wells Funeral Home of Canton.
