Lizzie Burgess

"1938 – 2016" Clyde – Lizzie R. Burgess, age 77, passed away on Tuesday, April 26, 2016 at Silver Bluff Nursing Home. A native of Haywood County, she was a daughter of the late Brenson and Alvie Messer Rose She is survived by a daughter, Jennifer Burgess of Clyde; one son, Terry Burgess, (Leona), of Canton; three sisters, Pearl Franklin and Maxine Jenkins, both of Waynesville, and Lois Hendrix of Brevard; two brothers, Arthur and Bob Rose, both of Waynesville; three grandchildren, Crystal Harvey, Julie and Curtis Burgess; and one great-grandchild, Alice Harvey.
