Linda Wright

Canton-Linda Chambers Sharpe Wright, 64, of 82 Pisgah Drive, passed away on Thursday, December 29, 2005 at Haywood Regional Medical Center. A native of Haywood County, daughter of the late Marshall and Ollie Mae Grooms Marshall. She preceded in death by her husband, John Wright in 1991, and a brother, Bud Chambers, in 1990. She survived by one daughter, Deborah Sharpe Dyer, and her husband, Kenny, of Waynesville; one son, Darryl Sharpe, his wife, Karen, of Canton; five grandchildren, Dylan Dyer, Tiffany Sharpe, Brad Jones, Lowell and Missy Lance; six great-grandchildren and ex-husband, Clarence "Peanut" Sharpe, of Waynesville. Graveside funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 5, 2005 with Reverend Jeff Brooks officiating. The family will receive friends from 12:00 p.m. until 1:30 p.m. at Wells Funeral Home in Canton prior to the service at Riverside Cemetery.
