Linda Kathryn Wolfe

Linda Kathryn Wolfe, born on October 17, 1947, in Murphysboro, IL, peacefully passed away on August 3, 2023, in Asheville, NC. She was a loving daughter, sister, and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Linda had a deep passion for animals and was a great lover of all creatures. She especially adored caring for the numerous cats in her neighborhood. Linda's kind heart and gentle spirit extended to every furry friend she encountered. Her compassion towards animals touched the lives of those around her and left an enduring legacy of love.

When she wasn't attending to animals, Linda found solace in watching church programs on television. She never missed a program featuring renowned pastors Charles Stanley or Joyce Meyers. These spiritual moments brought her comfort and nourished her faith.

Throughout her life, Linda maintained strong connections with her family and friends. She cherished the relationships she had with her loved ones and always made time to nurture these bonds. Her warm smile and caring nature brightened the lives of her 5 sisters, Patricia Trull, Linda Kay Stein, Georgia Darmstatter, Violet Stearns and her husband Gary, and Theresa Schroeder, along with her husband, Brian. Additionally, Linda leaves behind several beloved nieces and nephews who treasured their time together.

In honor of Linda's life, a visitation will be held on August 12, 2023, from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., at Maple Ridge Baptist Church located at 133 Medford Branch Rd in Candler, NC. This will be followed by a Celebration of Life service from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., also held at Maple Ridge Baptist Church. These gatherings aim to bring solace to those who mourn while commemorating the beautiful life that Linda lived.

Linda Kathryn Wolfe will forever be remembered for her kindheartedness, devotion to animals, and unwavering faith. Her legacy of love and compassion will continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to know her. As we grieve her loss, let us also celebrate the incredible impact she made on our lives. May her soul find eternal peace, and may we find comfort in the memories we shared with her.
