Linda Voliva

Linda Laney Voliva, age 60, passed away on Thursday, December 29, 2011 at her residence. A native of Haywood County and a former resident of Belhaven, North Carolina, she was a daughter of the late Garland France and Katie Pope Laney. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Howard "Roy" Voliva. She is survived by a son, Howard Leroy Voliva and his wife, Marina, of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; three daughters, Katie Fowler of Murfreesboro, Tennessee, Cynthia V. Gurner of Canton, Malanie V. Cleary and her husband, J.W., of Belhaven, North Carolina; one sister, Dean Williams of Canton; two brothers, Larry Laney of Sylva, and Don Laney of Charlotte; and seven grandchildren. A private family service will be held in Belhaven, North Carolina at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Heart Association, P. O.
