Linda Trull

Linda Mason Trull, age 59, died Thursday, May 29, 2008 at St. Joseph Hospital Campus. A native and lifelong resident of Haywood County, she was a daughter of U.L. and Dorothy "Dot" Lankford Mason. She was preceded in death by a brother, William Doug Mason. Linda was a member of Canton Freewill Baptist Church where she played the piano for nearly 40 years. She was dedicated to playing and teaching the piano. Linda owned and operated a beauty salon, Shear Shack, for 20 years and was a licensed cosmetologist for 33 years. She loved her grandchildren and was an avid fan of #3 Dale Earnhart and NASCAR. Her shop was adorned with all Dale Earnhart memorabilia. In addition to her parents, she is survived by her husband, of 12 years, William Ralph Trull; one daughter, Kim Clontz and her husband, Allan, of Canton; two step-sons, Ralph Jr. and Ryan Trull both of Canton; one brother, Dennis Mason; three grandchildren, Rustin Dupree, Katelyn and Macy Clontz. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, June 1, 2008 in the Canton Chapel of Wells Funeral Home & Cremation Services with Reverend Milton Hollifield and Reverend Mitch Strickland officiating. The family will receive friends from 12:30 until 2:00 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
