Linda Carol Angel, a truly remarkable woman. A beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Linda received her heavenly wings and was reunited with her beloved husband Robin Glenn Angel (2019) on May 30th, 2025.
Preceded in death by her parents, Tom Clay and Ernestine (Davis) Clay, her sisters, Darlene “Janice” Angel (Gary) and Brenda Clay, and her son, Gary Scott Angel.
Linda is survived by her daughter Kimberly Lynn Angel, her grandchildren Brittney Diane Winfield (Zackery Winfield), Jessica “JT” Angel, Cory Scott Stevens, Nicholas Patrick Angel, and Oliva Lynn Angel. Her great-grandchildren, Everette Jace Winfield, Layton Tate Stevens, and Evelyn Carol Harper Winfield.
As well as her daughter-in-law, Brittany Angel, her sisters Shirley Bolton (Gary Bolton), and Paul Clay, her brother Donald Clay. Along with many other nieces and nephews.
Her kindness and compassion touched countless lives. Linda dedicated over 30 years as CEO and her husband’s right hand in running a successful family business. The legacy continues to live on today. Linda’s home was a haven of prayer and support, not just for her family but for countless others in need of guidance and comfort. Her homemade fudge was legendary, and her holiday gatherings were eagerly anticipated by her family and friends alike.
Linda’s family will receive family and friends, Saturday, June 7th, from 1:00 pm until 3:00 pm, followed by a Celebration of Life at 3:00 pm at Wells Funeral Home of Waynesville, with the interment to follow at Crawford/ Ray Memorial Gardens. The service will be live streamed for family and friends who are unable to attend in person.
