Lillian Barrére Needham

Waynesville-Lillian Barrére Needham, age 92, died Thursday, October 03, 2002 at Brooks at Balsam.

A native of New York, NY, she was the daughter of the late Jean Paul and Marthe LeBlanche Barrére. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Clifford George Needham, who died in 1977 and a brother, John Barrére. She was a former schoolteacher of English and French and was a life-long Episcopalian and an active Lay Woman.

She is survived by two daughters, Martha N. Wilson and her husband, William, of Phoenixville, PA and Mary Hartman and her husband, Michael, of Waynesville; a son, Clifford George Needham, Jr. and his wife, Katharine, of Pittsburgh, PA; a brother, Robert Barrére, of Camp Springs, MD; four grandchildren, Cathy and Lauren Needham, Martha Hartman Woodburn, and William Wilson; and two great-grandchildren, Hannah and Willfred Michael Woodburn.

Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 5, 2002 at St. Andrews Episcopal Church in Canton with Father Tim McRee and Reverend Dr. Russell Smith officiating. The family will receive friends immediately after the service in the Parrish hall. Graveside Services will be held in Arlington National Cemetery at 10:00 a.m. on November 1, 2002.
