Lewis Wright

Swannanoa-Lewis Asbury Wright-82 died Tuesday, September 17, 2002 at Memorial Mission Hospital.

He was a native of Haywood County and had been a resident of Buncombe County since 1958. He was a son of the late Corbett and Louise Green Wright and was also preceded in death by 2 sons, a daughter, a grandson and a brother. Mr. Wright retired from Duke Power and was a veteran of the Army-Air Corp, serving during World War II.

He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Barbara Reece Wright, three daughters, Deborah Boley of Raleigh, NC, Yvonne Miskolczi of Cedar Park, TX, Tracy Martin of Pinehurst, NC; four sons, Terry Wright of Cruso, NC, Thomas Wright of Old Fort, NC, Lewis A. "Tony" Wright of Sumner, WA, Tim Wright of Swannanoa, NC; three sisters, Lena Brown of Nobleton, FL, Mary Cogburn of Cruso, NC and Opal Bumgarner of Black Mountain, NC; 13 grandchildren, 2 great-granddaughters and several nieces and nephews.

Services will be private, however; the family will be at Mr. Wright's residence, 223 Lytle Cove Road, Swannanoa, NC 28778.
