Lewis Mabry

December 11, 1929 — January 14, 2003

Canton-Lewis Rayvon Mabry-73 of 18 Allen Street died Tuesday, January 14, 2003 at St. Joseph's Hospital.

He was a lifelong resident of Haywood County and the son of the late Reverend Lewis and Nettie Mabry. He retired from Champion Papers with 39 years of service. He was a member of Canton Central United Methodist Church.

He is survived by two sons, Kevin R. Mabry of Canton and Rodney Mabry of Richmond, VA and three grandchildren.

Graveside services will be at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, January 19, 2003 at Crawford/Ray Memorial Gardens with Reverend David Shaver officiating.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until 2:30 p.m. Sunday at Wells Funeral Homes of Canton prior to the graveside service.

The family requests that in lieu of flowers Memorials may be made to Haywood County Rescue Squad, P.O. Box 1275, Canton, NC 28716 or to Meals on Wheels 514 Marshall Street, Waynesville, NC 28786.
