Lena Moore

Candler- Lena Pauline Moore , age 80, died Tuesday, November 9, 2004 at Memorial Mission Hospital Campus.

She was a native and lifelong resident of Buncombe County and was a daughter of the late Paul Revere and Ella Mann Moore. She was also preceded in death by one sister, Gladys Benfield. Miss Moore retired from American Enka and was a member of Ridgeway Baptist Church.

She is survived by one sister, Lillian Warren of Candler, nieces Susan Wines, Brenda Robinson, Virginia Bradford and nephew Eddie Warren.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, November 11, 2004 at Ridgeway Baptist Church with the Reverend Jack W. Collins officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. prior to the service at the church.

A special thank you to the kind staff of Pisgah Manor Nursing Home where she had resided for the past two years.
