Lee Shankle, Jr.

Waynesville, Lee Roy Shankle, Jr., age 81, of Waynewood Drive, passed away on Saturday, June 5, 2010 at his residence. A native of Jonesboro, Louisiana, he was the son of the late, Lee Roy Shankle, Sr. and Wilma Nicholson Shankle. He was a US Army veteran, having served during the Korean Conflict. He is survived by his wife of 59 years, V aldyne Shankle and two sisters, Elizabeth Norris and her husband, Don, of Waynesville and Patricia Morrow Bishop and her husband, Grover, of Texas. Services will be announced at a later date.
