Larry Phillips

Waynesville, Larry Lee Phillips, age 52, passed away on Wednesday, July 4, 2018.

A native of Haywood County, Larry is the son of the late Frank Phillips and his mother, Patricia Parker. Larry was employed for 15 years for Jerry Queen. Larry's heart was a big as his smile. Even in the toughest of times, Larry was blessed with a positive attitude. He was known affectionately as "Warry" by his beloved nieces and nephews. Larry loved to fish, garden and hike throughout the mountains. Larry will forever be loved and cherished by his family and friends.

Larry is survived by his mother, Patricia Parker Phillips; one daughter, Summer Caldwell, GA; one sister, Rita Serena, Mills River; two brothers, Bobby Phillips, Portland, Oregon and James Phillips, Candler; special nephew and nieces, Brian Cunningham, Hendersonville, Jessica Phillips, Hickory, Halley Phillips, Candler; and great nephew and nieces, Jocelyn, Mia and Zander Cunningham.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, July 7, 2018 in the Waynesville Chapel of Wells Funeral Home with Reverend Billy Ferguson officiating. The family will receive friends at 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
